Behavior
Gawky, quiet, egotistical at times, tends to manage own mistakes but rather messes up prior to her mood swings; not fairly flexible to produce better patterns. She doesn't prefer to have company and is rather unfriendly around the femininities. She despises those to stare at her, especially for a long period of time. Loneliness has always been apart of her daily life, she'll mainly be more productive if doing something independently than grouped. If she is approached to have a congregation, depending on her is normally how she'll interact. She does have a varied behavior, despite that she can be a bit aggressive, though hardly means she wants to brawl.
On the other paw, she can be a bit Indecisive, after knowing more about her later on, her mistakes make-up for her bad decisions. Those mind teasers she has were apart from her ever since she fled off, not the proper knowledge was flushed through this one easily. Her memory may also not guide her well. Despite that side of her, her compassionate self leads her to the right path of her life. She will also do what it takes to protect the ones she be-loves and the ones who don't hold any grudges against her. Though somewhere deep down inside of her is a kind and calm canid, whom can show her personal compassionate side, yet was not given the opportunity to show it anytime sooner.
Pigment In Depth
From lanky to slender, Katlego has a medium lengthened brown pigment. her base color is hard to identify from a light cream to a beige tint, with other hues absorbed on her platform of darken smudges of brown. Other sorrel arays across her chest, nape and basically where it is spotted on her with some beige blotches on her back as well. Describing it intently for her type of concealment in a forest type region, thus will help as she also has consisted darken blackish brown layers around those smudges. Darker hues are performed also at the tip of her snout and midway towards her midsection of her twin pools, smudged slightly around her brows, speckled with a white and beige cover on her face and cheeks.
Even her pattern is a bit unique I guess you could say. It's like a rippling of darken brown and light colors, a shadow that is hiding those lightened areas. A repeatable balance of browns and maybe even a pinch of a dark gray mixed in with those sorrel hues. No matter though, her concealment is preferred in forests anyways and with that she endures the forest landscapes, no matter if she blends in or not.
Build Structure
Not practically the strongest type of canid to take down a larger competition animal, though she is quite fast. A moderate pace of stamina, her agility moderate, can outrun animals at times and never usually falls tired unless the temperatures she explores in are deadly from humidity or the cold to slow her down. She tends to run better in snow than through shallow waters of a creek. Her sturdy legs keep her in balance form and help her on her long travels of sprints or walks. her broad shoulders also come in handy.
Markings & Other Visible Conditions
Vaguely has a scar on her shoulder, the back of her neck is sore from recent attacks though will heal eventually.
Those Eyes
Her irises are a dark hazel with a blueish gray tint on the rim portion of the pupil.
Height
She's not that tall, fairly medium height.
Weight
Approximately 120 lbs
Accessories
None that she owns
Diets
Her diet consists of small rodents, even the occasional deer if possible to find. Though she prefers to scavenge off carrions.
Habits
She'll tend to chew on almost anything she can get her fangs on; twigs, stones, bones.
-
Aside from doing her part, she'll explore or chase animals for the heck of it to keep herself occupied if nothing else is present to do.
-
Seeking out for a social party or individual once comfortable around others
-
Killing something that is straining and would intently gnaw on that prey whilst it's alive. (Practically start consuming it..while in motion)

Brother - Oliver - Deceased
Narration
The Beginning
A new pack was abroad in an enclosure surrounded by many parts of wildlife that resided. The rendezvous spot they've taken was clear of danger and soon developed a new home to stay safe in for once. After being fled from this area twice from the same approach of the same enemy, no longer have their scents lingered. A pair of wolves were brought back together and decided to start anew, after losing half of their family, they still remained in their hearts even if now they are together, the fear of separation never went away. New arrivals came into the area and some of the pairs even returned, injuries stabled and some have evn taken the injuries to a new level of a risk factor. Illness swarmed some and were betrayed from the leaders to not return. One of the oldest daughters came back and demanded for own life to remain where she was born, having her mother be the last choice to make her stand, of course she allowed her but she wasn't allowed to bring her mate having her daughter to then travel back to where she was, closest to danger.
As a year passed, the pairs have brought some members back to health and were thriving gradually especially with some new youths to watch over. A litter of three born in the small cave core den the mother rested in day and night, watching over her second bundle of furs as they grew. She picked out names that were different from her cultured pack ancestors. The native and African names were only placed once, but to keep their pack sacred for these lands and away from rivals so her young wouldn't be killed. She decided to name the one girl they had, Katlego. he name would suit her she assumed and her brothers..well their names weren't very common for the pack, Oliver and Charter; different but would do.
Months have passed and the three pups were already out and about, exploring their new habitat of life out in the exposure and away from the den. harvesting on fresh elk and deer, small animals were also laying around from their hunting party of wolves whom also were care takers to watch over them. Of course, there was always one of them running off and that one was Katlego, an adventurous type who always got into trouble. her father never let her leave the den every so often anymore, since she would go in the creek and almost drown chasing fish, or disturbing other animals away for the hunting party to chase after. She was a mess, though hardly ever seen outside. Humbled inside with her mother she was, her father never appreciated her to be outside and never listened to his commands. Punishment was neccesary for her and eating wasn't very daily, however, slim for her. Something her father, Tracer never did to his young, but decided it probably was best to help his daughter realize.
Through the crucial weather the pack dealt against, the pups continued to grow and once they were around the age of one year, they decided to take them out hunting one more time. The chilled brisk air flaked against their coats as they dawdled across the boundaries to the hunting grounds lead by Tracer and Yuuki and one of the oldest siblings from the recent years, Heena. Heena was the daughter of Yuuki, yes she's pretty much older than the rest of us, I guess you could say, experienced with hunting, Heena took off faster and went ahead of the group to find the weakest or young of the herd ahead. Elk was on todays menu and Yuuki was confident enough that their kids would do great. Katlego wasn't very focused and distracted looking around and smelling new things. Soon to be nipped at her side from her father who slugged back to keep her in contact. Nevertheless, did she then decided to play and ran ahead, soon to be caught off guard by a passed bull of the herd. Heena planted her paws on it's hind legs and sunk her teeth in, reluctantly Katlego stepped back and watched. Displeased by her father, his gestures were dominant towars her and she whined, but with unfortunate decisions she was forced out into the field with him and she was unable to look amongst his gaze to the herd.
Time passed and he nipped her again, then a few more times. She took the hint and ran as he followed her a few meters into the center of the field. Katlego gave chase to a small elk that looked like an offspring. Yuuki bayed at her to stop; she was being charged at by the bull. Blood seeping from the wound dealt by Heena, she tried to catch up, but taking a blow to the side by the force of the bulls gesture and it's antlers, nearly giving the young Katlego a serious injury. The calf took off with the other herds and the pack went in for the kill, biting and thrashing towards the bull. Katlego was taken by Charter to the bushes to rest and hide. Whimpers and yelps were heard and sounded from the young Katlego continuously, dealing with searing pain in her jaw, and hind limbs, where the sharp antlers struck her deeply then yank out. Yuuki and Heena approached once the bull was down. They reeked of blood that stained their snout, it was over-powering and she was hungry...nearly licking the snout of her mother as she stayed by her side, deciding to stay there in the field for the night.
Nightfall came around hours later, mother and daughter were in deep slumber and Heena guarded them from danger. She soon took a nap but couldn't sleep knowingly her youngest sibling was injured badly, hoping she could walk by the next morning. The sounds of the night echoed in Heena's ears, crickets, frogs and other amphibians lurked and let out their nature life sounds. Soon she cuddled close to her family and licked the wound on the yearlings limb, to clean the blood and dirt from leading to an infection or other diseases that would harm her health and condition.
Sunrise, the early bird time where the mother was already up and gathering some of the meat from the den and walking back. perhaps it was a boost of food for her daughters to eat for them to get some energy to move, especially her youngest one. Seeing her awake, katlego tried to stand without pain, however it shot across her legs and she stumbled forward and bent forth, whining. She shakily stoood to try and elevate her sore limbs, the searing pain was too over whelming and Heena suggested the creek. A snarl came from Yuuki to her, knowingly the creek was a bit far from their location and would harm Katlego's condition. Soon she made no choice and pick her up from her nape, her heavy structure made her mothers neck drape a bit, but they both walked, Heena and Yuuki towards the creek slowly. Even if it took all morning, they would soon make it. Pausing to take a break and taking turns to give the best hospitality towards the young one to gain some energy with the meat held from the other. The sun was beating hot and soon by the noon time of day, while the sun was up higher and above their heads they arrived at the creek. The sound of the water made Katlego jumped with eagerness, she was quenching her thirst soon once placed at the bank. Flopped down on her belly with her paws grazing the surface, she gulped down the most fluid as she could. Joined by them was Tracer with Charter and Oliver, the entire family re-united after one night of weariness.
After prolong months of recovery, the healing process soon was eventually better. She kept up with her daily routine of walking around the territory and helping gather food and also scout the area with Charter, her best friend and close brother she always wanted. He was there for her during cold nights and especially when she was injured. He always nudged her playfully and called her 'Smudge', she wondered why he called her that but she didn't bother with it and didn't mind having a different name to be known as other than Kat. He was always by her side no matter what and soon, their time to be separated was a singe to her heart, devastation to leave was unpredictable since understanding the land she was scared but Charter wanted to go with her anyways.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
After Departure
The three pups were fled from the pack once they were back to good health, Katlego was able to run with no exhaustion or soreness in her limb to slow her down. Charter stayed with Katlego over the nights and Oliver soon was huddled with them as well. Finding places to rest were risky, Charter was normally the bravest one to find the hideouts and other dens taken by even predators. He did fought a bear once, again he would never attack a grizzly as long as we were on the move. The one time he did was a fate in line for him, a mother and two cubs dawdling through the forest and eating. Three wolves against her was nothing. The mother attacked us and including Oliver, leaving with fatal wounds to his chest and maw. he bled and he was weak as resting in the forest was very dangerous. On the outskirts of the boundaries far away from the dens site and in uncharted locations, Oliver sorely never made it through the third night on our own. Leaving his traces behind, the two pups decided to not stay any longer as other predators soon caught up to them when the stench of Oliver's blood lingered on them.
Weeks on their own was tough, food was slim pickings and sharing wasn't the best choice. Katlego and Charter both fought over food, biting each other and stealing to take a piece forcibly. As siblings, Katlego knew something was up, while growing up she could remember seeing Charter as a young yearling steal food and take off, approaching him about it now made him uneasy that he was being watched when he attempted this. Who wouldn't watch over the pups in the first place? Katlego decided to not stay around any longer and left when Charter was sleeping in the warmth of her now ditched in the cold.
Miles she ran and walked to hold her energy she soon lacked, the destination she chose was far, her scent will remain where she stopped, the creek that separated their land and another, but this wasn't any ordinary creek, it was a vast mass of water aligned for miles. She looked around the perimeter and no land was visible to her; swimming across was her only option. Seeing some parts of land sticking out she would rest there but again, she would continue on her move, not to look back and never to return. Hoping maybe one day she'll see Charter or her other family members, but again maybe Charter will make the same decision as her and go their separate ways and find new adventures along the way. With that, she let out a farewell call, knowingly whoever hears it, knows that she is alive and now won't be seen throughout her birthplace again.

And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone."
In the Future

Re: Katlego - The Independent
It's a beautiful biography with one of the best layouts I have seen so far. My compliments to you, Kat. I believe that our characters should be able to get along well for their personas are almost identical.
