-Forest Clan's Main Den-



You wander about, feeling lost in the deep woods. You wonder if you will ever find a way out, you wonder if you will die in this lonely place. Suddenly you step into an area that is slightly clearer then the surrounding space. In front of you stand three large trees, which seem oddly entwined. As you look them over, you notice holes in the bottom of said trees. A shiver runs down your spine as you realize this is a pack's den.

The three tree's insides had hallowed out over the years and with lots of work, members of the clan had dug channels under the ground, giving the pack enough room to live and move about while still remaining hidden. This is the home of the Forest Clan.

[Audi]

Audi turned to look at Kat, a smile on her pretty face. "A Coastguard, eh? Are you the only one?" She shifted her paws a bit. The air was beginning to feel slightly warmer than she preferred.

[Katlego]

Katlego shrugged, "only one way to find out" she remarked and stood slowly to shake out her pelt gingerly head to tail, releasing the debris that was collected on her belly and other parts of her body when she was at ease. When she shifted her gaze across the others and towards the surrounding forest, she looked over at the ivory lass, "I think I'll go for a walk to get adjusted to my sur-surroundings.." she paused and looked back towards the tree line, "...to study my surroundings and so on and so forth" she ended her talk with a stutter  and gave a nod to her. "I'll see you around.." she said with a flick of her head and slowly began to slink off into the shadows of the trees and explore what is now her new home.

When she bounded a bit farther off she sighed deeply with a grunt and shook her head. "Well for a start I did good...yeah, you did good Kat.." she scoffed as she continued to look amongst the forested greenery of the scenery, the vegetation was lush and thinned out in a path for her to pass through easily. However, some parts were also hard to maneuver around as she sniffed and proceeded through. It was a beautiful landscape she had to admit, something she never thought she'll come across. Frankly, she felt like she was home again. With that she stopped and lowered her head slightly and closed her twin pools, dreaming about her forest back home, her brothers playing around in the clearing, rough play fight she's say. Tugging on a stick like a mini game of tug-of-war, oh wasn't Charter the strongest then. Shortly, Katlego opened her twin pools slowly and blinked them once and sighed, "I miss you...Charter" she whispered and cuffed her receptors back padding onward again.

[Obsidian]

As Obsidian was sitting in the den, she watched all the wolves socialize and get to know each other better. She sighed, then she looked outside the den and at the faint mountains in the distance. Surely, there were clouds and fog covering them. Good thing we left when we did... she thought to herself. But she missed the snow and the icicles. She loved the chilly air, and she wasn't used to this roofed land.

[Gemma]

Gemma slowly made her way towards the scent. She could smell the scent of the wolves get stronger as she edge closer and closer. Gem's grey eyes spotted the den and the wolves, and she tried to force herself to stay in one place, even though it was clearer in this area then in the woods.

[Guest]

Romeo had been wandering in the woods for a while now. Earlier, he had finally realized his female travel companion was gone. At first he sort of freaked out, kicking into guard mode and checking for predators. However, he found no threats in the area and just assumed she had gone back to the den. With every paw step the massive male took, he sank into the soft earth and left an obvious trail. The brute's vivid, violet eyes watched in all directions, 'The woods seem oddly calm today....' Romeo leaped upon a fallen log and landed with a slight creak from the wood, complaining about his heavy frame. The dominate lupe swished his tail side to side while scenting the area, 'I guess the blizzard sent the animals into hiding...' The male sat back on his haunches on the mossy wood, and enjoyed the silence of the woods.

[Katlego]

The darkened pigment female made her way through the forest with really no problem...except one problem, she felt a bit lost. She snorted and whiffed at the air then peered around the forest, it seemed as if she were going in circles and not fairly remembering where she went, though she only kept going straight. Katlego sat down amongst her rump and settled her paws and twitched her tail a bit along the ground pondering about how to return to the den as for now..her memory hasn't been adjusted to recognize or to return before nightfall.

After a moment of relaxation, she turned and decided to walk back, if it were the way that is. She flicked her receptors of the blackish brown insects that buzzed around her. It was a bit of an annoyance and she snapped at them, chomping her fangs together like a quick click. The juice from the bugs gave her taste-buds something to remember and she swallowed with grief, "aye..nasty taste.." she said with a soft and flat tone. However, that didn't really slow her down from her exploring trail as she soon caught a familiar scent, perhaps she was closer than she though? Padding along was that brute, the dominant male, Romeo. She could see him resting and trailed around him though looking at him with a nod and proceeding to pass by. She looked forth and tried to make out the location, leaping over fallen trees and brushing passed the lush greenery of the vegetation at ease. "I guess that should be enough for my walk.." she whispered to herself as she came to the conclusion when returning back. In better daylight she'll take a better time to explore.

[Starlight]

-From The Serene Utopia-

Starlight arrived back at the camp. A bundle of herbs in her jaw. Padding into her den, she neatly laid the herbs onto the ground. She then padded outside. She glanced at Romeo and walked over to the dominant. "Thank you for telling me about the garden. It was lovely and I got some herbs."she smiled.

[Argo]

Argo sighed and lied down on his back and looked at the clouds from the blizzard. He didnt want to annoy or bother anybody so Argo just stayed where he was. Even though he missed the cool air from the mountains, he found the warmth of the forest conforting.

[Audi]

Audi nodded, understanding, as she watched Kat walk off. "Kat... what a nice, beautiful, name..." she sighed, putting her head slowly down onto her paws. She blinked her blue pools slowly. Her eyes wandered over to the clouds high on the mountain. Already, she missed those mountains. The snow... the trees...

[Katlego]

Katlego traveled a bit further then around the perimeter scenting something new. A wolf. Her maw agaped slightly as she whiffed at the stirring breeze, the scent was clear that a lone wolf has lurked into the woods nearby. The arkened female padded over to where this scent was lingering and with looming eyes, she soon spotted this wolf in the foliage. Her pigment was quite different than her own colors combined, yet did show a darkened blackish color with a lighter reflex on her paws and lower physique. Soon she approached this canid (Gemma) slowly and calmly, showing no negative intentions though keeping a steady posture. perhaps as a Coastguard, this will help her gain some confidence approaching canids she doesn't necessarily know fully or trust, but with some experience, it takes time and patience.

"Salutations, stranger.." she started off as she halted in front of the wolf. "May I ask what your name is?" she added, lifting a fore paw to place infront of her other paw slightly, her digits cave at the soil of the earth lightly as she continued to observe this canids coat for a moment then directed her Hazel grey orbs back to her dark gray orbs.

[Gemma]

Gemma perked her ears, dimly aware of a nearing wolf. She turned away from the bush that she hid behind, facing the fea that had spoke to her. She took in the stranger, noting everything from what the color her eyes are to how tall she is, making sure to remember this new found information. "Hello." Gem said, then tilted her head, eyeing the stranger while she tried to get a feel if she was a enemy or a friend. She decided to go with the latter as she sighed. "My name is Gemma, my friends call me Gem. May I ask what your name is?" She says, sitting down were she was standing.

[Katlego]

Hoping to not have startled the female, she stepped back a bit and pointed her receptors forward as she spoke. Giving her a greeting than revealing her name. It was Gemma. Her name was different yet, in a unique sort of way and with that she gave a nod of her head, still having the neutral expression applied across her lips. See she asked a question, Katlego kept her posture and answered, "It's Katlego, or Kat for short", she gave a slight grunt, as she circled the loner once slowly to observe a bit more and soon stopped ahead of her again. "What may be your purpose to travel here?" she then added, eyeing her in her peripheral view as her head slanted slightly. She remembered she was only a newcomer herself and recently she  felt a bit included, however, tried to not enforce herself to be of an commanding officer and will shortly guide her towards the dominant. "And if you have further quarries...Romeo, The Forest Clan dominant will assist you on that.." she snorted and stood aside looking over her thoroughly then towards the direction where Romeo wandered to.

[Gemma]

Gemma tilted her head as the stranger, Kat as she soon found out, answered her question. "It's nice to meet you Kat." She says, frowning as she couldn't tell how this was going to go. Gem's gray eyes follow the fea as she walks around her, her black fur standing on end for a few seconds as she began to feel uncomfortable. "Would you believe me that I don't remember?" She asked after a moments thought. Hmm... now that I think about it, all I can remember is walking through those woods... Along with my old home, but nothing of how I came to get here... Gemma things, a troubled expression on her face. She did, however, remember that she tended to forget things a lot. Maybe it will come back to me... She thinks, then snaps back into reality as Kat says something about a dominant. "Huh?" She said, getting up as she sees the wolf she had just met walk away, "Uh... Hey! Wait!" She says, walking after her.

[Stefano]

Stefano preferred to stay out of all the action going on for now, and just sat back and watched as a few of the wolves started conversing, or taking a short walk. He noticed the new she-wolf Katlego was talking with Audi, the messenger from Mountain Clan. When he saw Katlego get up and go off for a walk, Stef got up and slowly padded over to Audi's side. The brown-furred wolf laid down beside her, and said "Hello...are you feeling okay now?" The brute put on a smile as his hazel orbs watched the white femme, waiting for her to reply.

[Audi]

Audi smiled at the wolf who had approached. "Yeah, I'm feeling pretty good. Who are you? My name's Audi." Her blue pools glinted in the light as she waited for his answer.

[Stefano]

Stefano nodded slowly as the fem said she was feeling better, then asked what his name was before stating her own. "I'm Stefano" he replied. The brown-furred wolf noticed himself staring at the white she-wolf's blue markings, and immediately pulled his gaze away and focused on his paws instead, not wanting to appear rude towards Audi.

[Katlego]

"Hmm..?" Katlego paused for a moment then proceeded as she lifted her head up from the side as she heard the lone female, Gemma following her. As she walked a bit more, she did find the dominant male still in the same position as when she passed by. "I'd recommend you speak with the dominant and don't follow me around.." she said with a flat tone then grunted and walked in the other direction, as she bounded through the foliage to the other section of trees then slowed a bit, as she didn't prefer to quicken her pace as much. Needing to fill her lack of energy was cheap, though she would find something to gnaw on soon, perhaps. As she paced around the territory, observing the lush vegetation, she looked to where the mountains stood seeing now why the Mountain Clan were escorted out of the danger by their dominant, known as..Obsidian, as Romeo has told her.

The female sat down and watched over the horizon. A far view from where she was situated, knowingly that exact speck of land she spied upon is where she traveled across. She sighed, letting a small passage of air through an oval shape of her lips that narrowed and as her receptors cuffed  at the memory she had yet to trace away from her past. For now to her, she knows she has to learn and discover from others, the way she acts is how she was brought up to be. Nothing nice really comes out of her mouth, unless she was approached in an non-provoking way..though her mood-swings differ.

[Argo]

Argo climbed onto a low branch from a tree. Not many wolves could climb as fast as him so he climbed higher and quicker. He then looked down at the wolves and glanced at the horizon. "After the clouds of danger have past; waiting quietly till the peace has come at last; water flowing and the sun glowing; wolves conversing and some traversing; now I watch the setting sun; wondering of what I am to become," Argo said elegantly as he stared at the distant mountains and sky.

[Guest]

Romeo awoke from his daydream when the fae's voice broke through the woods silence. His purple gaze fell on to her and he flashed a bright smile, "No problem, It is one of my favorite places to be." The dominate looked up into the sky as the sun had begun to set and laid his ears back, "Wow.. I've been gone all day." He twitched his ear and jumped from his place on the log, landing beside Starlight, "I sure hope no one has killed anyone~" He spoke with a joking tone, but it was sort of an honest statement. With two clans together in a small area and plenty of newcomers, tempers could flare at any moment. Romeo swished his tail and looked back at Star, "I really need to check on them, but next time you go, I'd be happy to accompany you~" He smiled and then began to trot back to the den area.

The multi-hued brute came to a stop and looked around the area. He was going to do a head count, but he wouldn't of known who were mountain wolves and who were loners, so he just settled on making sure all familiar faces were there. Romeo smirked and nodded, accounting for his pack and seeing no one was injured or arguing, 'Maybe this won't be so bad.' With all his accounted for, the brute found his way into the dominate den, but was slightly surprised by the presence of another. He looked up and saw it was the Mountain clan dominate. He smiled slightly and flicked his ear, "Hello Obsidian, How are you liking our neck of the woods, so to speak?"

[Starlight]

Starlight nodded. She gave him a smile. "I've done check ups on everyone already."she said. "Everyone is fit and healthy."said the medic proudly. She nodded again in response of him taking his leave. Yawning, the raven fae padded into the den to take a short snooze.

[Obsidian]

Obsidian was just about to doze off with the sun when she sensed a presence near her. She heard a voice; one of the Forest Clan, but one that she knew. She opened her eyes and looked up at Romeo. "I love the protection of this area; so easy to keep predators lost and away around here," she chuckled. Her optics went past the large brute then back at him, as if she were distracted. "Do you think this two clans at one den idea is working out?"

[Audi]

Audi caught this wolf, Stephano, staring at her markings, then he quickly pulled his gaze away, to his paws. She laughed lightly, her tone sweet. She looked into Stephano's golden eyes, so different from her own bright blue ones. "So. What's Forest Clan like?" she offered, her pools shining.

[Stefano]

Stefano turned his gaze upwards again when he heard Audi's voice. "Well, to be honest I'm not exactly sure. I arrived here just a few moments before you did" he replied in a calm tone. His golden orbs wandered around the area a bit, not looking at the wolves but instead the trees surrounding them. "It's almost like the forest where I used to live..." he murmured in a quieter voice than before. Memories of the horrible flames that kept him from rescuing his family swept through Stef's mind, buhe pushed them away, not wanting them to spoil the nice conversation he and Audi were having. Not wanting the femme to ask about where he used to live, he decided to ask her a question. "Is it a lot different from Mountain Clan?" he asked, looking at her and smiling again.

[Guest]

Romeo laid his large frame on the ground, getting comfortable. The brute let out a large yawn before speaking, "I'm sure it'll all be fine. We have plenty of space, and I don't think anyone is going to fight." He gave the other dominate a reassuring smile before laying his head down on his paws and going silent. He wasn't asleep, his mind was just focusing on all he needed to get done and things to do tomorrow.

Argo was quiet as he looked at all the wolves below. He sighed and went to sleep on the high branch he was on.
