-Forest Clan's Main Den-
First topic message reminder :
-Forest Clan's Main Den-
You wander about, feeling lost in the deep woods. You wonder if you will ever find a way out, you wonder if you will die in this lonely place. Suddenly you step into an area that is slightly clearer then the surrounding space. In front of you stand three large trees, which seem oddly entwined. As you look them over, you notice holes in the bottom of said trees. A shiver runs down your spine as you realize this is a pack's den.
The three tree's insides had hallowed out over the years and with lots of work, members of the clan had dug channels under the ground, giving the pack enough room to live and move about while still remaining hidden. This is the home of the Forest Clan.

Resting alone in the midsection of the forest, Katlego happened to fall asleep without even noticing. Snorting a few times, startled by the fact that she was, the dark female started to awaken and blink open her hazel oculars slowly whilst blinking. "oof..." she mumbled and arose to her paws sluggishly, however, she didn't notice where she slept and taking a step she didn't feel the ground right away and leaped and landed firmyl. "Oh" she muttered...and shook out her pigment gingerly looking at the knoll, not remembering a thing now.
Arching her back into a stretch, the female decided to head over to the creek to quench her thirst before returning to the den. Approaching the waters edge she stood and leveled her head down and lapped at the waters surface quickly. The cool water splashed against her dry maw and inside of her mouth and tongue and it really relaxed her with a refreshing outlast! Raising her head up and away from the surface she smiled and flicked her tassel a few times peering around at the perimeter for a moment then turned and trotted off back through the forest and hoping her memory would suit her well to help guide her back to the camp area.

Argo found some of the other Mountain Clan wolves already together. He hesitated, thinking about how he would make the trip back with his injured paw. Argo continued limping slightly towards the Moumtain Clan pack.

Obsidian walked back outside the den, confused. Romeo wasn't where she had last seen him. "Romeo? Anyone seen Romeo? Well, we need to get back to our den, so Forest Clan members, when you see your leader tell him we left. Mountain Clan, let's go," she said. She looked at her clan members then began trotting off in the direction of the Mountain Clan territory.

With a huff of frustration, Aurora followed her alpha. She had been alone for a while and hadn't really been interacting with her clan for a while. She looked around at everybody and then smiled at Argo.

Katlego proceeded through the territory and shortly heard paw steps retreating afar. As she raised her head a bit and whiffed at the air, it seemed as if the Mountain Clan members were on the move and escorted back to their own border back to the mountains. She snorted and flicked her receptors as she walked on towards the camp area.
As she approached it seemed quiet and with little to no activity for the Forest Clan members. She seemed to be the only one that was doing her part. No matter, the female looked around for the alpha, Romeo, to discuss a few things. However, when she whiffed the air to identify his scent..it was faint to no scent found at all. Her eyes widened a bit as she stood stiffly with a light growl eyeing the forest around her. 'Where on earth would he be..?' a much lower growl now escaped her throat as she was in wonder where the leader has went off to.
Sitting down on the hardened, cold earth, Katlego briefly took in the scents and pondered more. "With no leader..this pack will go insane and be out of control..perhaps a challenge for leader next.." she scoffed and got up and bounded through the forest to seek further detail of this missing alpha.

Argo smiled back at Aurora trying to hide his limp. He followed behind all the other wolves, wincing in pain every few meters.

Aurora sidled up to the other wolf, gazing at him in pity. "What happened to your paw?" she asked cordially. "It looks like it really hurts.

(Two sentences please, Argo. Thanks!)
Re: -Forest Clan's Main Den-
Aurora snuffed in amusement. "And you were up a tree, why?" she teased him. She licked his shoulder just to prove her friendly intentions.

"I wanted a better view of the Mountains. Also I wanted to be alone for a while," Argo said grinning as he looked at Aurora. "So how was your stay at Forest Clan?" he asked wagging his tail, happy to be in a conversation.

Katlego continued through the forest, panting lightly and deciding to slow her pace and pause as she caught her breath. She growled lowly at the fact that the missing leader left no trace of his disappearance, leaving her so far the active canid to watch over. "Great.." she mumbled as she twitched her receptors and soon peered around at the forested trees and sighed looking back down with her head hunched low. She thought up other locations where Romeo may be located and with that she traveled one direction and kept going.

Aurora grinned at Argo. "It was alright," she commented. "I stayed alone most of the time, but it was okay anyways," she continued. "How was yours other than your.... uh, accident?"

Re: -Forest Clan's Main Den-
"My experience in the forest was that the forest is very, how can I put it, very interesting. It even inspired me to recite an old poem I made up. But, anyways I liked its warm breezes and the sound of the wind rustling the leaves. In summary, the forest has its own beauty just as the Mountain and Sea have their own," Argo said looking at Aurora as he spoke.

Aurora nodded. "I agree. The forest can be dangerous, but most of the time if you're safe and aren't lost, you can be free to admire everything," she paused, looking embarrassed: "I like to listen to the birds sing."

"Birds provide the most beautiful sound of all the forests. All the different chirps and whistles mean the same thing. Do you know what it is?" Argo asked with a calm voice and a slight knowing smile.

Aurora thought a second, then concluded that she didn't. "No," she said. "What do they mean?"

Re: -Forest Clan's Main Den-
Seeing the wide range of familiar trees and the scents that penetrated her nostrils, Katlego smiled for a brief moment seeing she made it back on all four paws, or at least that's what she thinks. Seeing how the members remained in their position, she slowly limped to a tree, the blood piled on her leg haven't seeped any further down her leg and she slowly sat down for a moment and rested, breathing more than she could. The pain in her fore leg increased a bit as it started to throb as she took the pressure off it when walking.
Allowing her paw to limply rest out in the open, she rested down on her side and had her head on the ground and shortly she closed her eye lids. She was hoping for no disturbances, since she needed to get some rest before she makes a decision to do what and when. Though, even with her thoughts empty about the attack, the pain awoken her to the point where she'll whine and attempt to lick the wound without increasing the pain to overwhelm her.
Re: -Forest Clan's Main Den-
"The birds are saying 'Beasts of the Earth, aways look up and remember that we will fly high and soar intil the end of time.' I am guessing it may not make much sense to you," Argo chuckled.

Aurora chuckled as she walked beside him. "How poetic. And tragic since I'll never fly," she commented, grinning at him.

"Well, I guess we will have to grow wings," Argo said laughing. He swayed his tail smoothly. "Have you ever dreamed of flying?" Argo asked tilting his head.

Argo stared at Aurora's eyes as he listened. He limped slightly as he walked. "Do you feel the wind against your fur?" Argo asked with his eyes sparkling.

Aurora nodded. "It's wonderful," she said with a grin. "But I can't wait for the mountain breeze to be in my fur."

"Yes, I miss the cliffs and the abyss on the far northern part of the mountains. But, with my paw, I wont be able to work as soldier for about a week or so," Argo said looking at his paw as they continued on home.
